Denis Maksimov FRSA, co-director an author, independent curator and political scientist, Denis was born in Bryansk (RU) and holds Russian and Belgian citizenship. His work is focused on genesis, legitimisation and transformation of aesthetico-political phenomena such as mythology, ideology and regimes of power. A co-founder of Avenir Institute, Denis has been working as a political advisor for various think tanks in Moscow, Brussels, Washington and curated interdisciplinary projects at the biennales, galleries, festivals across Europe and Latin America. Denis has been living in Moscow (RU), Brussels (BE) and is currently based in London (UK) and Athens (GR).

Timo Tuominen, co-director an artist, designer and co-founder of Avenir Institute, Timo was born in Ulvila (FI). He is interested in the potential of art as a space for interdisciplinary research as well as the intersections between conceptual art and futures studies. Timo consults on and develops for large scale projects from conception to completion for clients. He implements intricate and business-critical solutions, leads technical innovation projects and conducts feasibility studies beforehand. He is now working on a book about functional reactive programming. He was living in Berlin (DE) from 2008 and relocated to London (UK) in 2013.

She has been working in the art field since 2008 in Sao Paulo in different segments of the market, such as cultural centres, museums and art galleries. She developed and coordinated the production of several exhibitions, integrated publishing projects on contemporary art and has extensive experience with cultural journalism and institutional communication. She is a contributor for a digital publishing operation New City Brazil, focused on the visual art culture with special emphasis on São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Caroline was a director of Broadway 1602 Gallery in New York (US). She is currently based in Sao Paulo (BR).

Bruno's artistic projects have been widely exhibited, in institutions and galleries like Funarte São Paulo, Paço das Artes (São Paulo, Brazil), Biblioteca Joanina (Coimbra, Portugal), Frestas Trienal (SESC Sorocaba, Brazil), Museu de Arte Contemporânea do Paraná (Curitiba, Brazil), Museu de Arte de Ribeirão Preto (Brazil), Museu de Arte de Goiânia (Brazil), Blau Projects (São Paulo), Galeria Pilar (São Paulo), among others. He is based in Sao Paulo (BR).
