Queering Mythography is a multimedia research seminar aimed to critically reassess, rework and continue the mythological and theological heritage of Ancient polytheisms, transforming the approach to political imaginaries from historical (as objects from the past) to futures-oriented perspective (as things for the futures).

The core focus of the project on the current stage is development of the methods and approaches to the Ancient Greek and comparative mythography leading towards construction of the potent political imaginary for a desirable future. The theoretical frame of the research includes the paradigms and components of political theology, narratology, queer theory, futures studies, ideology and aesthetics, among other.

The seminar and lectures were hosted by Institute for Art and Art Theory at the University of Cologne (DE), Performance Design department at Roskilde University (Copenhagen, DK), Delphi Annex of the Athens School of Fine Arts (Delphi, GR), Athens Museum of Queer Arts (Athens, GR), Communitism/Kunsthalle Athina (Athens, GR), Romantso (Athens, GR), Circuits and Currents (Athens, GR), Mimosa House (London, UK).
